The mother of a six-month-old baby made a horrifying discovery after the babysitter did the unthinkable to her child. After dropping her daughter Ana off at the home of babysitter Ismelda Ramos Mendoza around 2 p.m., the girl’s mother returned to pick her up three hours later.
But it wasn’t until the next morning that Ana’s mother noticed several painful blisters on her daughter’s tiny feet. She scooped her up and took her immediately to the doctor, who in turn called 911 to transport the girl to the emergency room.
After careful examination, it was determined that Ana had suffered second-degree burns on the bottom of both of her feet. She had to be hospitalized for several days to carefully monitor the burns and the skin of her badly blistered feet had to be peeled off.
When the girl’s mother and the police questioned the babysitter about the incident, she first lied and said Ana’s feet bumped a hot pan she was cooking tortillas on. But upon further investigation, the babysitter confessed to being frustrated with Ana’s incessant crying so she put the helpless child’s feet into the scalding pan and burned them.
Ismelda, a mother of two, was promptly arrested and sent to jail for child abuse, assault and reckless endangerment. Little Ana’s feet are healing and thankfully she’s on the road to recovery.
