24-year-old model Nyakim Gatwech has been dubbed “Queen of the Dark,” but she isn’t offended. In fact, she embraces the title!

Originally from South Sudanese, but now living in Minneapolis, Gatwech is wise beyond her years with her message of love and acceptance.

Gatwech has over 140,000 Instagram followers to whom she captions her stunning photos with those messages

She’s also trying to reform the mainstream’s idea of what beauty is and is a staunch supporter and voice for black rights around the world.

Unfortunately, last year an Uber driver told her she should bleach her skin. Getwech posted that story on Instagram, along with her response: laughter.

But she also captions her beautiful photos with words of inspiration that both young and old and every color of the rainbow can listen to and learn from.

Dear, litter dark dark black girls You might be darker than everyone in your school, your community, and your peers, but guess what, from older dark girl your are beautiful.. your are not along and you are drop dead gorgeous despite what anyone might think or say about you.
