We all know Pink’s onstage rock star persona as a force to be reckoned with. She’s tough, she’s talented, she’s cool – what’s not to love? But she’s also a fiercely dedicated mom to five-year-old daughter, Willow Sage Hart, which means she has that protective maternal instinct.

Well that instinct seemed to kick into overdrive a few years ago when she was performing at a concert in her hometown of Philadelphia, PA. In the middle of belting out her smash hit tune, “Who Knew,” Pink noticed something strange going on out in the audience. She saw a little girl crying really hard so she stopped mid-song to see what was going on.

“OK, hold on,” she said to her guitarist, “one second. Is everything OK right here? Is this little girl all right? … Why is she crying? Why is she upset?”

Apparently, two women were fighting around the girl and it made her burst into tears.

Well Pink wasn’t going to let it get out of hand any longer, so she called out the two women and told them to “Cut it out!” She also said they were grownups and should work it out.

The singer acted quickly to make sure the little girl was okay and offered her a stuffed toy frog from the stage and a Rice Krispies Treat to try to cheer her up.

The two women stopped their shenanigans and the show continued.

Bravo to Pink for standing up for the little girl and calling out bad behavior! She’s the real deal!
