Almost since the beginning of time, humans being have been fascinated by outer space. Are there any other life forms out there? Could humans possibly survive on another planet? These are just a few of the questions that people have asked over the years.

But out of all the planets in the galaxy, none have garnered as much interest as mars. Known as the red planet, mars has qualities that have mad researchers believe that it may be able to sustain human life.

Now, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is looking to put that theory to the test. However, instead of taking a trip to mars, the plan is to build a mars-like city in the middle of the desert.

The project will cost more than $100,000,000 and will take up a 1.9 million square-foot area.

So, what’s this thing all about?
