If you were anywhere near social media over the last few hours, you’ve seen it pop up over and over. It’s been the subject of debate (“he meant to say ‘coverage’) and a whole lot of ridicule. Now President Donald Trump is being trolled by his election rival Hillary Clinton, and her reaction to his use of the nonsense word “covfefe” is just brutal.

As a Commander In Chief with an obsession with Twitter, Trump is good for copy. He can take almost any situation and tweet it into something bordering on the insane. From personal attacks to professional and political back pedals, the man loves the www and can’t stop making his presence known. After returning from his “triumphant” trip overseas, he posted the following on his account:

And thus began the backlash. While members of his staff swear that he “meant” to say that (mouthpiece Sean Spicer has even said that there are certain insiders who “know” what “covfefe” means), most of the attention has come from memes and other tweets mocking the man. Granted, when you put something out on social media without spell check, the trolls come at you fast and furious.
